Tanya spent three months in San Diego, California to further her art education at Watts Atelier of the Arts, an atelier modeled after the studio ateliers of nineteenth century Europe.  Here, she built a stronger foundation of time-honoured skills through her core curriculum of classical and traditional studies while she put into practice her solid work ethic attending classes from six to nine hours a day, seven days a week.  Tanya states the experience has paved a path and the education has given her a clear focus of purpose.
